Main objectives for the ancillary task

For my ancillary task I needed to create a film

poster and magazine review that promotes my

short film. The poster will be used to advertise

the product and gives information about the

products release date ,the actors staring in the

product, the certification etc. The poster and

film review should communicate to the

audience the genre of the film and should stand

out amongst other posters.

Film Review

How did my film review replicate a

real media product?I thought that it was important to maintain links between my poster and my film review as the content behind them relate. So I used the same light pink color The font that I have used through the review is Calibri as it is easily readable, simplistic, and clear.

For my film review I used a font that was simple but professional for audiences to read, I also used the same color template. pink, white and black. I think although simplistic it looks professional and both my film review and poster tie in with each other.

I decided to use this picture as it was one of my favorites, There's so many enigmas creating within just one frame and this image incorporates all characters but still leaves the audience intrigued from the small frame of the film.

In this review I’ve embedded creative writing into my review informing the audience of what Blind Date is about and what makes it such a good short film

Summary

Overall I feel the combination of my poster and

film review were very effective, both tasks

served its purpose for the promotion of my film.
