In what ways does your media product use, develop or
challenge forms & conventions of real media text.
Evaluation question 1
• What does it mean?• The term Forms and conventions are rules that make a trailer a trailer
and not a documentary. Conventions help an audience recognise what media product they are viewing usually because they recognise the way in which something is usually done• Aims• The aim of this question is to compare real media texts to our
products. Showing similarities, differences and to give reasons as to why our product is the way it is with the use of inspirations
The use of web 2.0• A collective term for certain applications of the Internet and the World Wide
Web, including blogs, wikis, video sharing services, and social media websites such as Facebook. I used YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp and snapchat to promote our trailer which most distribution companies do in order to engage their audience into possibly gaining and interest in their product. This is effective because they get the satisfaction and guarantee that it will be seen by thousands of people who base and depend on interactive communications as a day to day life. As it is familiar and popular platform of engaging.
