2. DocumentaryAfter looking at various examples of professional documentaries such as The Devil Made Me Do It, The Amy Macdonald Story and The Music Biz, We looked at thecodes and convention in which I then followed when creating my own documentary. Our group followed the codes and conventions of a typical mixeddocumentary. It contained a narrator, archive footage and a variety of interviews. 3. EditingFollowing the codes andconventions of adocumentary, we cut all the questions outleaving just the interviewees answers. Similar to professionaldocumentaries the mostcommon edit we usedwas a cut resulting in the audience not being distracted by what is being said by the interviewees. 4. VoiceoverThe use of a male voiceover relates to the topic. The age ofthe male voiceover is relevant to the target audience of 18years upwards. Typical to a documentary, the voiceover isspoken in standard English, is clear and is calm.Click icon to play voiceover from documentary 5.
