Evaluation Evaluating My Media

ProductBy Deanna Dunn

In what way does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

I challenged the conventions because other pop magazines that I have looked at and researched have loads of stories on the front of the magazine but I have kept mine simple.

How does your media product represent particular social groups?

As you can see my magazine is not like any of these magazines but I have took little bits from them for inspiration. I have taken the idea from both of them for having more than one young person on the front cover. I have done it this way so then it will appeal to the younger generation who like pop music and pop artists. I have also taken the idea of having bright colours so then this magazine will catch peoples eyes and therefore buy it in shops.
