How to use the Erasmus+ logo
If you have been successful in applying for Erasmus+ funding, you will need to use the European Commission’s Erasmus+ logo and acknowledge EU support.
Why do I need to use the logo?
Here is the European Commission's logo below. It is relevant for projects across all sectors and key actions.
What is the logo?
The logo should be used on any of your communications or documents related to your project. These include: • Promotional items and materials (e.g leaflets,
posters, newsletters, websites, press releases). • Any communication made by the partnership as
a whole, or as an individual project partner. • During events and on presentation slides. • Alongside other organisational and project logos
as outlined in your grant agreement.
Where do I use it?
The European Commission advises to use a disclaimer alongside the logo for publications. The following could be used as a standard disclaimer: “This publication has been produced with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The contents of this publication are the sole responsibility of <beneficiary name> and can in no way be taken to reflect the views of the NA and the Commission.”
What should I use with the logo?
• The logo, strapline and other aspects are not
intended for projects • The official programme logo is the European
Commission’s
What shouldn’t be used?
Please do not use the UK National Agency logo or design elements.
Downloading the logo 1. You can download the logo from our website:
https://www.erasmusplus.org.uk/key-resources#logo 2. Either download the individual logo
3. Or the ZIP file of European Commission brand guidelines and logos in three different formats.
We recommend reading the European Commission’s brand guidelines as well as this summary guide.
Which format?
PNG Best for general use and resizing the image without it blurring
JPG Ideal for web use because of the small file size
EPS Requires illustration software such as Adobe Illustrator, useful for promotional items and design
This table explains which format may be best suited depending on how you want to use the logo:
Do’s and Don’t’s Do resize the logo if
needed. The minimum size the logo can be is 10mm in height
Do use one of the three colour variations if needed:
X Don’t stretch, distort or rotate the logo X Don’t move the positions of the logo elements:
TIP You can hold the Ctrl and shift key when re-sizing to stop the image distorting
