Project Manager/ ProducerThe Project Manager looks after

all the different parts of making the game, and is responsible for making sure the game goes out on time and within the budget, they look after the time and money, but also after the staff making sure everyone is happy and working. They keep and overview of the entire process from start to finish.

Hergen Thaens Hergen is currently the Community Project Manager at

Square Enix. However he has been working with German companies for the past 6 years and has a rudimentary skills in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.

Assistant Producer The Assistant Producer works with the

game’s production staff to ensure the time is produced in time and is the highest quality product possibly.

Usually they focus on a specific area of the development process; this could be handling the communication between the publisher and the developer, or co-ordinating work on some of the projects key processes.

Shinji Takahashi Shinji is a Assistant Producer for

Square Enix and has worked on the game Bravely Second as Assistant Producer Recently

External Producer External Producers ensure the

successful delivery of a game while working externally from the development team. The External Producer are almost always hired by a game publisher. They are like an consultant, advising the game developer's but they also deal with boarder issues.

Creative Director Creative Directors oversee any

important decisions that affect how the game plays, looks or sounds. But not all companies hire Creative Directors but spilt the duties between the game’s Lead Artist, Lead Programmers, Designers and Producers.
