Through workshops for waste management, crafts, recycling, the implementation of the three R by means of educational videos and

To formulate the guidelines for the appropriate implementation of the Environmental Management Plan.

The impact that is going to produce the school with the project about take care the environment

Implementing a recycling plan in the institution that does not have a history of

filled by the parents of the school Misionera Católica Reina de la Paz, according to the questions number

four, five, six, seven and eight.

Through the training of teachers and administrative staff of the school Misionera Católica Reina de la Paz seeks to acquire knowledge in the management of wastes so that they can pass this on to the student population and the rest of the community, create awareness of all the benefits that you can create the project.

To develop didactic material with the use of recycling material.

Theoretical Framework

Didactic MaterialWe can describe that didactic material are all kind of instrument that facility to the teacher transmit a successful learning process, a tool that not only allowed that the student learn instead a facility to teach.“The word ‘didactic’ means designed or intended to teach. It also means intended to convey instruction and information as well as pleasure and entertainment.” (Maria Montessori)

Environmental Plan ManagementThe Environmental management is a process that is faced to resolve, to moderate and prevent problems of environmental character, in order to achieve sustainable development, understood as the one who allows the man to the development of their potential and their biophysical and cultural heritage and ensuring their permanence in time and space.

ReuseAs a important factor of the environment, reuse is when people use again certain material instead of put it into the garbage, but not all kind of material is has to be recyclable.“The concept behind the second R, reuse, is that you should reuse items as much as possible before replacing them. For example, it generally makes more environmental sense to update your computer rather than get rid of it and buy a new one.”(Desktop PCs glossary Online, 2014) 

ReduceThis is the first step of the three Rs, and the most important, in this step the people can reduce any kind of material and avoid the waste of the same, it also can be reduce electricity and the water that we are no used it.“The most essential way to reduce waste is to avoid creating it in the first place. Unfortunately, current consumer behavior is trending in the wrong direction. According the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, each person created 2.7 pounds of waste each day in 1960. Today that number is 4.3 pounds.” (Bethany Wieman, Demand Media)

Recycle is defining to the use that we give to the materials, not to waste them and to the separation and classification of the residues correctly.

Bandera Azul EcológicaIt is an award involving all kinds of public and private institutions of the country and according to its category gives you a plan to carry it out and get good results, creating a balance between work and the environment.

Speaking SkillIn English we have four basic skills one of them is that of speaking, with that we communicate to ourselves most of the time and with the one that the children of preschool were developing more while they cross the way to the primary one and begin the next skill as it is of the writing.

Listening skillListening is the ability to accurately receive and interpret messages in the communication process.“Listening skills are vital for your learners. Of the 'four skills,' listening is by far the most frequently used. Listening and speaking are often taught together, but beginners, especially non-literate ones, should be given more listening than speaking practice. It's important to speak as close to natural speed as possible, although with beginners some slowing is usually necessary. Without reducing your speaking speed, you can make your language easier to comprehend by simplifying your vocabulary, using shorter sentences, and increasing the number and length of pauses in your speech.”

Conclusions and Recommendations

• Variable “The effectiveness of the environment as a didactic material for a successful learning process”

By means of the application of various strategies that motivate and improve the students listening and speaking proficiency level in English enhancing and enriching their vocabulary

• Variable “The impact that is going to produce the school with the project about take care the environment”

Due to all the pollution and damage caused to our planet because of global warming and greenhouse gases, it was taken into account the creation of a remedial plan to be applied in a classroom of preschoolers through different methods and techniques for enhancing also their listening and speaking skills.

• Variable “The culture that the students have of taking care the environment”Throughout the formulation of a model for the appropriate implementation of the plan for the management of the environment, the students learned about the appropriate conservation and sustainable development strategies that attempt to recognize this as being integral to any approach

• Variable “Development of apprenticeship that motivates students to learn a new language”.

Taking always into consideration the protection of the environment it was developed didactical material using recycled products

General Objective• Illustrate the students through a workshop so they can learn in a different way the

language of English with the environment. Specific Objectives• Make a workshop for the teaching of English with trained personnel.• Create didactic material for successful learning of language.• Keep the institution in ”Bandera Azul Ecologica” program as an incentive to the

students• To train teachers and administrative staff of the institution for the conduct of

workshops within and outside of the same

PROPOSAL: THE APPROPIATE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT FOR TEACHING ENGLISH AT SCHOOL AT MISIONERA CATÓLICA REINA DE LA PAZ

ScopeThis workshop pretends to prepare these kids to be able to speak, listening and understand a second language with few supplies and using the characteristics and necessities of their community and the institution.

Developing of the proposalThe proposal is intended to improve the teaching of English, along with the care of the environment take them by the hand during the process to create a development in the Speaking and Listening skills to the student because right now students do not know how to read or write for their age.

Designing the workshopDuring the last week of each month that starts with the workshop students will bring from their homes recyclable material, and they will classify and used in their classrooms. There will be a lesson in English where the students are using the material and developing crafts with these. The teacher is going to avoid the use of speak Spanish during the whole class, trying to educate the ear of the student accustoming it to the languageSource of MaterialMost of the materials to be used during the workshop are recycled so there is no problem to achieve them. The workshop will be used cardboard, plastic, paper, aluminum, among others, the glasses in the workshop will not be used since being small children  are at risk when handling this material. Usually the school Misionera Catolica Reina de la Paz at the beginning of each school year it is requested a list of materials which includes acrylic paint, scissors, pencils, rubber glue, among others, so the same materials of the children will be used in the workshop.

Learning in the workshop Children during the workshop will learn not only to care for the environment, which implies the use of the three R's, learn to separate waste, to reduce pollution and to transmit these values to their houses and communities, but also learn English differently with demonstrations, participations and repeats all these tools are necessary to enable them to acquire an extensive vocabulary and learn by context, achieving educate the child's ear and accustoming only the language of the English.

Bandera Azul Ecológica and its relationship to learning

For the school Misionera Católica Reina de la Paz is a privilege to participate in this award as it is the first time competing, besides managed the reduce of their waste and maintain a balance with the environment will be the first private institution that with this program will teach a language, holding the hand the environment and education.
