We use present perfect to talk about or situation which started in the past and continues until now. The action may or not be completed. It has been snowing all day. NOW PAST FUTURE

We can use the present perfect continuous for repeated actions which started in the past and continue up the present time. NowPAST FUTUREAngela has been coughing all night
