There are different ways to say “You” in Spanish. Tú= you (singular, familiar)Usted= you (singular, polite)
Tú= you (singular, familiar)Usted= you (singular, polite)“Usted” is the polite “you”. It uses the same verb form as “he/she”.

At a restaurant, you would ask a friend “¿Qué vas a tomar?” (“What are you –familiar- going to have?”), whereas a waiter, who does not personally know you, would ask you “¿Qué va a tomar?” (“What are you –polite- going to have?”).
