Dr. Dinesh Puri Professor and Head of Department, Biochemistry, UCMS, Delhi. Major field of research are: i) Medical Education, especially Problem Based Learning and giving clinical orientation to Basic Medical Sciences; and ii) Diabetes, in exploring therapeutic potentials of medicinal plants. Published a number of papers in these fields, some of which have been award winners. Apart from the Textbook of Biochemistry, published by Elsevier, authored and contributed chapters in books. Most important, however, is passion for teaching and interacting with students.

Dr. Indu Khurana Senior Professor of Physiology at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, possesses a rich teaching and research experience of about 32 years. She has published extensively in national and international journals with discovery of Occulodepressor Reflex (ODR) to her credit. She is an established author in Physiology with Textbook of Medical Physiology (mainly for postgraduate students), Medical Physiology for Undergraduate Students, Textbook of Anatomy and Physiology for Nurses, published by Elsevier, Anatomy and Physiology for Health Professionals, and Anatomy and Physiology of Eye to her credit.

Dr. Mario Vaz received his medical education (MBBS) at St. John's Medical College, in Bangalore and then worked as a medical officer and field worker in leprosy and tuberculosis at the Emmaus-Swiss Leprosy Project in Andhra Pradesh for 3 years. He completed his MD in Physiology at St. John's Medical College in 1992 and followed this with a fellowship at the Baker Medical Research Institute in Melbourne, Australia where he worked for 2 ½ years. His primary appointment is in the Department of Physiology, St. John's Medical College. He also heads the Department of History of Medicine and the Division of Health and Humanities.

He has authored Guyton's Textbook of Medical Physiology: A South Asian Edition (Adaptation), published by Elsevier.

Dr. U. Satyanarayana is the author of the renowned book in the field of Biochemistry:- "Biochemistry", published by Elsevier. Experience of 30 years as Professor of Biochemistry. Author of 5 Books (recommended for Medical and Sciences students in India and abroad) -in the subjects Biochemistry and Biotechnology. He has published about 60 research papers in reputed journals in India and abroad (USA, UK, Canada, Japan, Netherland etc.). He is also the recipient of Sunderlal Sahu Gold Medal from Nagpur University, 1975. He is the Technical Committee Member, Laboratory Accreditaton, Ministry of Sciences and Technology, Govt. of India 1998-2000 and is the recipient of First Best Teacher Award from Siddhartha Medical College for 1997-98. Apart from a great many laurels:- he has been nominated as an "Outstanding Scientist World Over 2007" by the International Biographical Institute, UK.

Dr. Vishram Singh is presently Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy and Professor in-charge, Medical Education Unit, Santosh Medical College, Santosh University, Ghaziabad, NCR, Delhi. He has been teaching anatomy to undergraduate and postgraduate students at several colleges and institutes like King George Medical College, Lucknow and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and has been an examiner to various colleges and universities. He has more than 30 years of experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice. He is the recipient of The Best Teacher and Researcher Award from Al-Arab Medical University, Benghazi. He has published leading books on Anatomy, 3-volume set on Anatomy, Textbook of Clinical Embroyology, Lesser Known Facts of Anatomy, Anatomy for Excellence, Anatomy of Abdomen and Lower Limb, General Anatomy, published by Elsevier.
