• Government of Kenya equipped the remaining 46 public libraries with PCs and the internet (1,5 million euro)
• All 61 public libraries provide public access to computers and the internet at no cost
• Result of 5 years of EIFL PLIP - Kenya National Library Services partnership in advocacy, training of librarians, and launching of new services for the community by awarding small project grants

• 30.9.2016: Marrakesh Treaty for persons with print disabilities entered into force
• People with print disabilities are no longer denied access to books in alternative formats due to copyright restrictions – in countries that are party to the treaty
