What is Ed. Tech. according or in relation to your

own program? In your own

curriculum?

• Generally gives the teacher/s the blueprint in using the different teaching materials effectively(that is applying both time-tested methodologies as well as the innovative ones) to help provide the learners a springboard of interest in the learning process .

Here are some views from our

group: (Program)

• Concerned with the proper application of the educational methods, techniques and instructional materials (especially the newer forms of IM’s) that are used in the high school setting in facilitating the learning process.

• A process of education that uses both traditional and modern tools/equipments in a more innovative way such that it can help enhance the interest and love of the students in the learning process, specifically the high school students.

A process of education that serves as the blueprint for teachers in the proper and effective application/usage of the educational methods and techniques (that is both the time-tested and the innovative methodologies) in presenting the subject matter to the students with the aid of the instructional materials being improved by the help also of the methodologies mentioned earlier and whose main aim is facilitating the learning process.

• Uses specific techniques, methods and principles that are applicable in motivating the secondary students which are taking up the subject Mathematics with the aid of IM’s specifically designed for the enhancement of their analytical and logical skills in solving problems.

• Serves as a bridge which are used by the teachers in arousing the interest and love of the high school students in studying Math by the use of specifically designed activities which are based on the traditional and contemporary educational principles in using technology to facilitate the learning process.

• Provides the pattern/s in using technology (methods, principles and techniques) in the improvement of the subject matter presentation through the usage of the different instructional materials which are present and applicable in the field of Mathematics in the secondary level of learners as the setting.

In summary, Ed. Tech(in relation to our

curriculum) is …. A bridge used by the teachers in arousing and

motivating the interest and love of the secondary students in studying Mathematics with the use of specifically designed activities that are both based on the contemporary and traditional educational principles specially the ones that are used in the enhancement of the analytical and logical skills which are then used in solving problems thus facilitating the learning process.
