Internship and it’s Importance

1. Gain insight and the status of the pupil teachers

2. Aware with the content, and organization of curriculum, infrastructure and resources

needed, and the issues and problems related to teacher preparation

3. Examine the programmes from the view point of policy and its relevance to the demands

of present day school realities.

4. Develop competence in organization and evaluation of various components of good

teaching

5. Critically examine the role and contribution of various agencies and regulating bodies in

enhancing the quality of education.

6. Understand and appreciate the research perspective on various practices in education.

7. Develop professional attitudes, values and interests needed to function as a teacher.

OVERVIEW

1. In 1946 founded by AMU Students Union as Madarsa.

2. Initially established with the aim to teach Urdu and impart lesson in the

recitation of the Holy Quran to the children of the grade IV employees

of the University as well as educationally downtrodden sections of the

Muslim Community.

3. In 1950 the Madarsa was shifted to a big room near Sir Syed Hall.

4. In 1988 the school was rechristened as Abdul Baseer Khan Union

School and upgraded to Junior High School.

5. In 1985-86 the Boys Section was established at Emadul Mulk Road.

Problems Faced by the Pupil Teachers

1. Unequal distribution of pupil teachers and their respective supervisor’s.

2. Majority of the pupil teachers where not take granted the teaching practices.

3. Male pupil teachers are careless and not interested in teaching.

4. Without any prior information the pupil teacher absent.

5. Very much lenient in teaching.

6. The negative remarks makes the situation contradictory.

7. As compare to the Female pupil teacher Male pupil teacher are not serious.

8. days of teaching passed away so why we doing hard work.

Suggestions for Pupil Teacher

1. Lesson plan should be proper and related to the chapter taught in the class by

the Teacher.

2. Black board entries must be filled and clearly visible.

3. The lesson plan develop with the cooperation of the students.

4. Suitable techniques and devices used by the pupil teacher.

5. Make teaching more interesting and affective.

6. Black board writing should be clear and in proper font.

7. Explain targeted points clearly.

8. Avoid ambiguous and double meaning questions.

9. Should always use appropriate and live examples.

10. Use both methods deductive, inductive and mix methods of teaching.

11. Use teaching aids appropriately.
