Objectives

• Personalize your account by changing the settings.

If you haven’t already done so, open your “Settings” page. From the Home Page, go to “Accounts” then “Settings”.

This is what the “Settings” page looks like. Take a minute to look at it.

Browse through the images and pick a picture that best represents you! You can also upload a picture later.

This is where you find your personal information from when you signed up. You can make changes here, but make sure you use your real name!

If you need to change your password, you may do it here. If you forgot your password and cannot find it, your teacher can reset it for you then you can change it here.

Notifications can be sent to you through email or text messaging should you choose. Make sure you have parental consent prior to setting up how you want to get notifications.

If you choose to have notifications sent by text messaging, select “Text Messaging” from the drop-down box.

Enter the phone number of the phone to receive the notifications. Remember charges may apply if you do not have unlimited texting on your plan. Ask a parent or guardian first!

Select your cellphone service provider from the drop-down list. If it is not listed, then Edmodo notifications might not be supported.

Select which activities you want to be notified of.

In order to receive notifications through email, you must enter an email account.

Your email address will then appear in the notifications drop-down list. Select the types of notifications you wish to receive.

Once you have completed changing some of the settings, return to the home page.
