Student Feedback through EdmodoStudents can comment on how they

Both the students and teacher can see what grade they achieved.

You can give two types of feedback:

A symbolic picture which sums up the students effort and written

feedback via the comments section

There is plenty of room at the side for detailed

comments on students work.

The selection of tools is basic but very effective

Edmodo automatically keeps records how many homeworks have been

completed and the score the students have achieved as well as allowing you to

annotate the students work with comments for them to read.

What do the students think?

There is still some work to do on getting all the students in my groups to use Edmodo but overall it is most popular with year 11.

• Overall students reaction is ‘popular’

• 76-90% completion rate for homeworks

• 3:4 of the most active students are in Year 11

• BBC Bitesize is the most used link
