for climate change

2005 Mayor Riley signed the US Mayors’ Climate Protection Agreement setting goals for Charleston to reduce CO2 emissions by 7% below 1990 levels by the year 2012

2007 Charleston Green Committee & Staff Green Team established; creation of local action plan
