CommentaryThis is my first draft of my double page spread in which I had named Reflection, due to the fact that the article is about an artist called Sofia, and she reflects on her life, growing up and transforming into the new and famous international superstar. The inspiration that made me write an article about someone who was previously unsuccessful, then became famous, was from the research that I had gathered from magazine articles to make my story seem realistic and reasonable. However, I made the story my own by ensuring that it is pragmatic and that it made sense. I had made sure that I included a clear masthead, leading text, drop cap, page number, photography credits etc. I did this to make it look professional and also follow the consistent theme of the magazine. I intended for the image of Sofia to be next to a window, so that it looks as though she is looking outside to the sky, almost recalling her journey through life from when she was younger to an established singer.
