Program Description:Nutritionisthestudyoftheroleoffoodnutrientsinthebody.Dieteticsisconcernedwiththepreventionandtreatmentofa variety of food-related diseases. The role of NutritionistsandDieteticsistointerpretscientificknowledgeaboutfoodinrelationtohealthanddiseasesoastohelppeoplechangetheireatinghabitstoimprovetheirhealth.The Doctor of Nutrition and Dietetics studies programis planned to prepare graduates to work as professionalnutritionistsanddietitiansinarangeofsettings.TheDegreeProgram aims to prepare graduates with the professionalandpersonalqualitiesrequiredforfuturedieteticspractices.The course integrates academic teaching and learningwithclinical,populationhealth, researchandmanagementexperience.Objectives:The graduates will have knowledge in human nutritionscience, food use in society, food science, nutritionalassessment,clinicaldietetics,communityandpublichealthandnutrition research.Thegraduateswill also acquire theprofessionalskillsandabilityto• Interpret and translate the science of Nutrition into
