✒DMAOnline and PurePure, for us, contains information on project, publications, and data. This information can be used, in conjunction with information from other platforms, to provide a clearer picture of the state of RDM at your institution.

✒What is Mint?A DOI minting application

Built with Ruby on Rails and is open source

Works with Pure native APIs

Code available at: https://github.com/lulibrary/doi

10

✒Why Mint?Because not everything requiring a DOI will be in Pure for us.

Pure DOIs are context in-sensitive!

11

✒Mint - Relationship with PureHaving said that, the first thing we need to mint DOIs for is our research data which is in Pure.

Lancaster format for DOIs is: 10.17635/researchdata/xxxx

✒From Inception to CompletenessWe started with the mandatory metadata for Datacite.

We have recently extended Mint to work with Pure native APIs and have a richer set of metadata.

Metadata is still not complete, as Pure APIs don’t reveal everything. Especially important for us is ‘isCitedBy’ and ‘Cites’ under relationType.

Who is looking at all Interoperability/APIs of Pure from a customer perspective?

We want Pure to be as interoperable as possible, easy to link with ORCID, ResearchGate, academia.edu, etc
