• A Multicultural team is a group of employees selected from two or more countries who are brought together to coordinate, develop, or manage some aspect of a firm’s goal.
(Steers & Nordon, 2006).
Diverse work groups
experience strong
conflicts (Pelled, 1999)
Review of LiteratureCommunication
between group
members becomes
more difficult

• The willingness to cooperatewith fellow group members diminishes (Thomas, 1999)
Methodology
• Sample size: 45
• Convenient sampling method
• Multicultural team from countriesIndia and Mexico
• Data Collection through: E- Mail
• Data analysis done using: Chi-square Test, Correlation, Regression analysis.
Objectives
1.To identify the challenges of
multicultural team.
2. To identify the relationship
between attitudinal issues, perception
issues and unawareness of other culture
3. To identify the relationship
between the influences of cultural
diversity on teams and impact of
culture on decision making process.

Conclusion• Communication challenges are major problems of
Multicultural teams.
• There is no significant difference in the opinion between onshore and off shore respondents with regards to communication challenges.
• If unawareness of other culture increases then attitudinal issues and perceptional issues also tend increases.
• If cultural diversity does have impact on multicultural teams then decision making process also influenced by the culture.
