1. Creating/Setting Up New AccountsGo to www.unitedstreaming.com(http://streaming.discoveryeducation.com)

Existing Users:– Enter your username and password in the Existing

User Log In section.

New Users:– Step 1 - Enter your school’s eight-digit passcode in the

New User Passcode section (See next slide).– Step 2 - Create your own username and password.– Step 3 - Log in with your username and password.

2. To complete a search• Enter the desired topic in the “Search” window, choose the appropriate

“Within” category, select “Go”.

• Select the desired video by clicking on the title or image.

Stream Vs. Download?Streaming - Playing the clip directly from the website.Downloading - Saving the clip to a desired location.

3. To Play or View Selected Media (Stream)•Click on the “play” button in the video information window or in the viewer.

4. To Save Selected Media (Download)• Click on the “Media Settings” tab below the viewer. • Choose “Quick-time”, “Stand Alone Application”, and select “Save”.

• Right click on the disk icon and select “Save Link As”. Then select the location, assign a name for the file, and choose “Save”.
