• What is a cyclone?

• A cyclone is a region of low atmospheric pressure usually associated with a stormy weather.

HOW DO THEY OCCUR?

• In a cyclone, the winds blow from all directions towards the centre. They are associated with turbulent weather, high velocity winds, cloudiness and rainfall.
