1. Our choice 2. Due to our choice of genre, we wanted to create
a story to our music video. Our video will beginwith our title
sequence and then a panning shot of a male walking down a street.
We will thenshow an argument between two people but we do not know
who the male is having the disputewith. We will then show the male
walking up the street. He will then be shown sat in a parkwhere a
little boy sees him with his mother and they gain eye contact with
each other, this willsuggest that the female is of family relation.
During the storyline there will be contemporarydance which will
express the storyline in a physical way. The frustration on the
male will beshown through many different aspects. By the end of the
video we will see what seems like thesame man walking down the same
street but dresses sophisticatedly with a single rose in hishand,
knocks on the door and hugs a woman, the camera will then pan round
to photos of themother an son growing up etc. 3. Main
character/protagonist CallumBrownCallum is our main character in
our musicvideo, we have chosen him for this videoas he fits the
storyline very well, due tohim being a young man, many people
canrelate to his situation. By doing a storyline in which it
involves family andrelationships with mother and son. Wewant the
impact to be big when theending is revealed. His body
language,height, persona, looks, we felt were allright for the
role.We have chosen two outfitsfor out main character, ourfirst
being grey joggers and ablack t-shirt. This isstereotypically very
juvenileand young which is what outcharacter begins being.Our
second outfit for our main character is a whiteshirt, black jeans
and a sort of trench coat. This ismore sophisticated and represents
our charactersgrowth thought the video. We wanted to show howour
character has grown up and changed. 4. We have decided to have our
dancer in allblack dance kit. By doing this it contends tothe very
monotone tones of the genre andconforms to the tones of how we
would likeour video to be. 5. Lucy Director/Camera
woman/editorHollie is the Director, camera womanand choreographer
of thecontemporary dance. There will bealternations between the
jobs.Lucy is bothcamera woman anddirector, the jobsagain will
bealternated
