What  is  Digiteen  and  Digitween?  The  Digiteen  Project,  and  Digitween  Project  are  global  hands-‐on  projects  for,  upper  elementary,  middle  and  high  school  students,  (typically  Grade  4-‐12,  8-‐18  year  old).  These  projects  study  digital  ci;zenship  and  promote  effec&ve  and  responsible  online  choices  and  immerse  students  into  an  online  educa&onal  community  for  learning  and  collabora&ng.

As  part  of  the  project  students  research  current  topics  to  do  with  digital  ci;zenship,  write  a  collabora&ve  report  on  a  wiki,  and  perform  and  document  offline  ac&on  educa&onal  projects  to  promote  effec;ve  digital  ci;zenship  at  their  local  schools  and  in  their  communi;es.

Teachers  will  meet  every  week  to  discuss  project  goals,  aims  and  progress.  They  will  monitor  not  only  their  students  in  the  project,  but  be  part  of  the  larger  whole  and  be  ac;ve  across  the  en;re  community.
