What is Digital Technology? • Digital Technology can be classed as your computer and the

programmes listed on your computer that you altogether use when making your horror film maybe even just in the planning and research stages for example, Power Point and Word for questionnaires and moodboards etc.

• Digital technology can also be classed as the things you use to make your product for example when taking images you use you Nikon Camera.

• Digital Technology may also be associated that most things you can do now is in fact digitally you can buy and download things all from the internet instead of physically going to the shops to buy a hard back copy which is more expensive and time consuming.

• Also I believe that all the things you use on the computer to help improve your mark it is all associated with different types of technology e.g Youtube.

What digital technology do you need to create a horror film?

• When creating a horror movie you will obviously need a digital video camera to be able to record your film. Hand held cameras are great for fast paced shots. A tripod would be great for steady shots. Using various different and unique camera angles add to the professionalism of the movie.

• You need a computer for the editing stages of the horror film, Apple Macs are great, if you take multiple take of one scene, you can then pick out the best scene in the movie and try different approaches each time as they all will not work out therefore one may be far better and make the movie that much better.

• When creating the horror film you will use the internet for research and exploring new ideas to help expand your own idea.
