Creating a CD cover is never easy. We designed our first draft which didn’t work as we didn’t

fur fill all aspects of the album.

This slideshow shows our research into our CD cover. However, we understand that we have to create the inside of a CD but this shows our

ideas of the front cover.

This was an initial idea we have chosen. The CD cover has a great layout and would defiantly suit our chosen genre. Example have shown the name of the artist boldly at the top of the page and this shows the viewer the artist straight away and draws them in. There are 9 images in total and they create a young and happy vibe to the CD. Each image is different and shows different colours to promote the artists CD. It also shows the parental advisory logo which makes it complete.

Although these artists are not in our genre type they show a good vibe as to what our CD cover may want to look like. They are a young group with some very establishing ideas. They also have an upbeat thrive to their music. This CD cover is very simple and shows both artists together recording a song. However, the title is big and bold and shows youthism within it. I like the font they have chosen because it shows the age range they may apply to and this really is a example we as a group may use.

This CD cover is very basic and is a great idea used by the artist. As a group we have had many ideas but this look was a main idea that we have decided we may use. The artist is shown big and bold in the middle and they have decided to use a tinted look to promote him. Orange is also a great colour to use as it is bright and again has a youthism vibe to it. However, with our cover we would have to use fonts to show who the artist is.
