One day I was riding my bicycle when I saw one sign at the middle of the

street. Suddenly, I thought in a great story.

“ One day me and two of my friends

(Miranda and Rosa Enriquez) were

riding our bikes in the neighborhood

and we stop on the corner because a sign was there”.

“We saw a guy who was traveling so fast and we thought that he would slow down, but he didn’t. The worst of all was that a little girl almost cross the

street, so the child got scared about it. And we saw everything”.

After that, we prepared a talk for our students. We went to a coffe

shop and discussed it.

In class, I asked to my students if they knew the traffic signs

that were on the streets. They answered “no”.

And that’s the reason why we prepared an activity. A simulation

of a free way.

So everybody was in his/her own car and they had to participate.

In lines, teenagers had to start the ride, meanwhile the teacher

had to show them a sign and they act that they are driving

their cars.
