A call program is one of effective ways in English language teaching and learning due to its effectiveness in assisting students to learn independently and get a better self confidence in learning English.

Initial planning, determining objectives, choosing types of programs, selecting materials, choosing software, determining tasks and designing structure of program are some steps in developing CALL.

5 principles in developing CALL, they are interactivity, usability, content appropriateness, effectiveness and performance.
