CHARACTERS Derek Derek was a cat who cared baout one thing. He wanted to join the police forceand be a

detective.o Segeant Norman Sergeant Norman had enormouse feet so he

could stamp out trouble in a flash. He also hadd a shiny reed ball which he bounced up and down really fast when he wanted to thing really hard.

o Boxer and Mouse The Boxer and the Mouse were the sneakiest

crooks in town. The Mouse was really mean and played nasty tricks on everyone.The Boxer was just plain bad.

CHAPTER 7 Derek and Sergeant Norman went to

Superintendent Sid. Superintendent Sid said “Frederick has robbed three banks. Noone can

catch Frederick. Now the row is Cash Bank. You and Sergeant Norman can catch Frederick.”

Derek said “OK” Sergeant Norman and Derek padelled down to the Cash Bank.
