Department of Education Online Application - Step by Step Guide

When applying for a Teacher 1 position, the Department of Education just recently required all applicants to register to the

Department’s online system at application.deped.gov.ph

This is in connection with the recent DepEd Order, click here.

You as an applicant must encode your Personal Data and select the division you want to be ranked. Once it's done,

an Applicant Number will be issued to you. You will need this Application Number when submitting your

application requirements.

Here are the steps on how to do register:

Step 1 Go to http://application.deped.gov.ph and register using your valid personal email address

If you did not receive the verification email, you can follow this template when sending a message

Step 2 Always check your email for the verification notice within the next 48-hours. Your username and password is

included in the email.

Step 3 Login to http://application.deped.gov.ph using your username & password.

Step 4 In Office level, teacher-applicants select [Division]

Step 5 In CO Strands/Region, teacher-applicants select [Region]

Step 6 In CO Bureau/Division Office, teacher-applicants select [Division]

Step 7 In position, teacher-applicants select [Teacher I]

Step 8 Click Save.

Step 9 Enter your data in the PDS. Click ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the screen before you transfer to another page /

tab.

Step 10 Review data in all pages / tabs to make sure all encoded data are complete.

As for the date, just type in the correct date since the year in the form starts at 1985-2005 only.

Change it to YYYY-MM-DD (eg. 1981-04-03)

Step 11 Go to Reference page/tab then click ‘Submit’.

REMINDER: After you click the SUBMIT button, you can view your PDS but no longer edit it.

Step 12 Regularly check your email for your UAN within the next 48-hours.

Step 13 Include your UAN in your application / provide your UAN where necessary

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I tried to register but I did not receive verification through my email.

You must wait for the verification email within the next 48-hours. DepEd experienced technical problems last Monday,

March 30, 2015 that resulted to backlogs. According to them, if you still do not receive the email by Monday, April 6, 2015,

you must send an email to [email protected] with subject:

NO VERIFICATION EMAIL AS of APRIL 6, 2015

2. I already encoded and submitted my PDS but I did not receive my Unique Applicant Number (UAN).

You must wait for the verification email within the next 48-hours. DepEd experienced technical problems last Monday,

March 30, 2015 that resulted to backlogs. According to them, if you still do not receive the email by Monday, April 6, 2015,

you must send an email to [email protected] with subject:

NO UAN SENT AS of APRIL 6, 2015

3. I am a new graduate, I don't have a TIN, so how can I apply online?

If you do not have a TIN, you should register online starting Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

Prepare any of these ID requirements: Voter's ID, Passport number, SSS number, GSIS number (or umid card number),

Postal ID or Philhealth ID.

Or better yet, you get your TIN here.

Applicants without TIN may start to apply on Thursday, April 9, 2015.

Acceptable IDs/ number : Voter's ID, Postal ID, SSS, GSIS UMID, Philhealth and Passport ID. Thank you.

4. I applied with an invalid email. I can’t verify my application. What should I do?

You must register again using a valid email address and TIN.

Note: The TIN is linked to a verified email address. When this happened, you may no longer use the same TIN if you

attempt to register again using a different email address. So make sure that you use a valid email address on your first

attempt.
