The Absurdity Of Death Death is the contradiction of Life We enjoy doing the stuff we like, but since Death

is uncertain, it can be taken away from us at any moment

This is an ABSURD condition according to Albert Camus

The sad thing is, sometimes death comes at the peak of our success

Death is a part of life It’s role is to bring meaning to our lives

We live for a purpose, and we commit our selves to that purpose believing that it can be realized, which brings meaning to our lives. Our reasons for existence are anchored on that purpose. Our strengths lie on our faith that that purpose will be realized. Our present life hangs on to our faith that that future will come. But the unfortunate thing is that this future may not come

This is why Life is more meaningful because of Death

Imagine, according to Frankl, if Life has no end

A life without end is a life without meaning Life offers us opportunities. And we should grab

them when it is being offered to us and turn these opportunities into values at a given time, and not just anytime

Death is a boundary-situation that imposes upon us tasks to be accomplished

We need to value every single moment and every single opportunity

Everything in our became precious because of death

Consciousness & Responsibility

To be conscious means to be aware of the meanings that singular situations bring us

To be responsible is to grab the opportunity to create a meaning offered by the situation.

A singular event happens to me means that it is meant for me

A person has two existential tasks: to be conscious of the meanings in life and to be responsible for them

Time is in the essence in the accomplishment of our responsibility

We can die at anytime so we have to be aware of every single opportunity

Since death is certain we should not waste every opportunity we have

We must cherish every moment and seize every opportunity

Therefore according to Frankl, Death is the source of meaning of Life.
