WHAT I HAVE LEARNT:

Vampires had overrun & now rule the world. They create a civilisation like humans have. They are almost identical to humans. The only features that show off that they are vampires are:• Yellow eyes• Sharp teeth• Pale white skin• ImmortalityThis fits the stereotype of vampires.

The vampires desire human blood. This leads to them to hunt down the remaining humans for their blood. This makes the vampires the antagonists.A small number of humans are forced to survive the vampires.

The vampires have a weakness: sunlight burns their skin. This is used to fit the stereotype & legend of vampires unable to resist sunlight. It could also add some comedic effect. For example, in the film, when the protagonists try to escape from vampires in a car, holes in the car causes streams of sunlight to enter. The vampire protagonist has to avoid the sunlight.

At least one vampire is different from the others because it helps the humans. It protects & hides the humans. This could be used to show that some vampires are different from the rest.
