On Day Two, you learned how to find information on the Internet.

On Day Three, you found out how to find and save images that were okay to use.

All of the information we use comes from somewhere. Responsible researchers give credit to the writers, photographers, artists, and videographers who create the information that we use in our research. That’s called citing your sources.

Let’s look at some examples of citing sources from the

Internet.

Sources

First, write the date that you used the article.Then, list the source or author.

Next, write the title of the article in quotation marks.Finally, add the URL (website address ) in italics.

First, write the name of the photographer. You will find the photographer’s name in the caption below the photo.Then, write the title of the website where the image was

found. You do not need to write the address.Next, write the date that the photograph was taken.

Finally, write the title of the image in quotation marks.
