13 Terrorism in Pakistan has become a major and highly destructive phenomenon in recent years. The annual death toll from terrorist attacks has risen from 164 in 2003 to 3318 in 2009, with a total of 35,000 Pakistanis killed between September 11, 2001 and May 2011.

According to the government of Pakistan, the direct and indirect economic costs of terrorism from 2000–2010 total $68 billion.

14 The Causes of Terrorism: -

All terrorist acts are motivated by Social and political injustice, People choose terrorism when they are trying to right what they perceive to be a social or political or historical wrong when they have been stripped of their land or rights, or denied these.

The belief that violence or its threat will be effective, and usher in change.

15 Root cause of terrorism in Pakistan: -

Terrorism in Pakistan has many causes and effects. The root causes are;

Religious extremism war in Afghanistan Poverty Social inequality and illiteracy. Some of the main effects are bombings, killings, and assassinations especially of police and military personnel.

16 How Terrorism can be Finished: -

• The real solution is to kill the root of Terrorism and systematically change the attitude of those people's who are involved in terrorism

• Military operations against terrorist are also very necessary.

• Education, justice, pour policies can stop the terrorism

• The government of Pakistan should enter into serious negotiation with Washington on the issue of drone attacks so that our sovereignty should be preserved as we reserve the right to undertake actions on our own land

Problems in Education of Pakistan

Education is considered as the cheapest defense of a nation. But the down trodden condition of education in Pakistan bears an ample testimony of the fact that it is unable to defend its own sector.

Though 67 years have been passed and 23 policies and action plans have been introduced yet the educational sector is waiting for an arrival of a savior.

There should be same system of Education for every one.Implementation instead of projecting policies should be focused on.Allocation of funds should be made easy from provinces to districts and then to educational institutes. Workshops must be arranged for teachers.Technical education must be given to all the classes.

The Constitution of Pakistan formed in 1973 promised to its citizens in Article 26(1) of the universal Declaration of Human Rights which says that

"Everyone has the right to Education”

Corruption is the prime reason behind the economical unstableness.

Corruption has spread into the world and has ruined the economy.

Pakistan is ranked at 42nd number among the most corrupt nations of the world.

Problems of corruption in Pakistan: -

• Corruption remains a substantial obstacle for Pakistan where it is still perceived to be widespread and systemic.

• Petty corruption in the form of bribery is prevalent in law enforcement, procurement and the provision of public services.

• The judiciary is not seen as independent and considered to be shielding corrupt political practices from prosecution.

• Various efforts over the past years have tried to develop institutional mechanisms to address these problems.

• A National Anti-Corruption Strategy, which was developed in 2002, offers a comprehensive plan for tackling corruption.

• The executing agency, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), is endowed with comprehensive powers to investigate and prosecute cases.

Child labour is a global issue. Child labour is one of the most common

problems in Asia and also in Pakistan

Child labour is work for children that harms them or exploits them in some way e.g.

41 Child Labour in Pakistan

In Pakistan children aged 5-14 are above 40 million. During the last year, the Federal Bureau of Statistics released the results of its survey funded by ILO’s IPEC.

The findings were that 3.8 million children age group of 5-14 years are working in Pakistan out of total 40 million children in this age group

30% of our country’s total population is leading life below the poverty-line, in which the people are deprived of basic necessities of life like clothing, shelter, food, education and medication, the children of these people will be forced to become Labourers' or workers in order to survive.

The children are working as a labour in school going age for the survival of there families and to full fill the basic necessities.

People don’t know the importance of education. That’s why most of children remain illiterate.
