Introduction

After co-founding Chen & Associates in New Canaan, Connecticut, more than 15 years ago, Michael Chen serves as the firm’s general partner and chief executive officer. At the firm, he provides advisory services to the food, financial services, aviation, and media industries. Dedicated to his community in New Canaan, Michael Chen assists with several organizations in the area and belongs to Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management Advisory Board.

Founded in 1944, the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management offers students a one-year or two-year MBA program, as well as an executive MBA program option, at its Ithaca, New York, campus.

With 55 full-time faculty members and another 40 part-time or adjunct faculty teaching its programs, the school connects with 60 corporate partners.

In addition, Cornell offers a unique one-year MBA program in NYC called Cornell Tech. Founded on a tech-focused campus, one can earn a business degree deeply influenced by the needs of the digital age. One can learn the foundations of business in the context of the technology and innovation reshaping the competitive landscape worldwide.

Conclusion

Students of this program are trained and prepared to lead in industry for product management/development, product marketing, program management, consumer insight/analytics and user experience strategies, consulting, general management, operations management as well as entrepreneurship.

As a member of the Johnson School Advisory Board, Michael is part of a small group of advisors whose focus in to ensure the long term success of Cornell's MBA program at both Ithaca and NYC.
