Masthead/title block – distinctive and bold, also pink which relates to the target audience of teenage girls. The pink also plays a theme through out the magazine cover which makes it more aesthetically pleasing and easier to relate to as it’s easier to assume what target audience it’s associated with as pink is stereo typed with females.

Sub image; as it’s a dog it creates humour, it also attracts dog lovers. Direct address and slogan
makes the reader feel involved.
Mid shot cover image creates a personal relationship with the reader, her direct mode and friendly smile makes the reader feel comfortable with the magazine and welcomed into reading the magazine.
