Consider Key Pad Locks For Your Home
You may already see the wisdom and
security benefits of having tamper-
resistant, fireproof safe in your home
for your valuables. Did you know that
there are other security upgrades for
your home that can help protect you,
your family, and your possessions?
Keypad locks provide numerous
benefits such as increased convenience
and improved security.
It happens to almost everyone—you’ve
got an armload of groceries, and you
find you have to dig around in your
pockets or in your purse to find your keys to let yourself in. Or perhaps you have
asked a friend or family member to housesit and you have had to track down your
spare keys or visit the hardware store to have new ones cut. Or are you one of
those people who keep accidentally locking yourself out? With a keypad lock, all
you need to do is type a code on your keypad in order to get in, with no fuss and
no wasted time.
While conventional key locks work fine for many people, they can be a security

you share your code with other people who may need access—even if you’re
away, you can simply change the code whenever you need to.
Finally, keyless entry systems can record data that will tell you when someone
attempts to open your door, either successfully or unsuccessfully. If anyone
enters the wrong code, the system will record the attempt. If your keypad lock is
connected to your home alarm system, it can even alert the police after a certain
number of failed entry attempts. This will help you and your family to feel at
ease, whether you’re at home or away.
