Class Activities and Homework
Throughout this year you’ll develop a set of HW’s and CA’s that will help you to achieve this year’s objectives.
You will have specific HOUR and DAY deadlines. It’s YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to send them by mail on time; I will not accept late assignments; failure to comply with deadlines will invariably give you a ZERO in your HW or CA. If the HW, CA or special assignment must be printed or handed in on another type of format, I will indicate the particular specifications and deadlines. The digital file’s name and the mail’s subject must ALWAYS have the following format:
Group_First name_activity name

Bimonthly Exams

In addition there’ll be QUIZZES at least every two weeks and some of them may by SURPRISE
Self – assessment
You must hand in EVERY WEEK a self-assessment report, this means you’ll make judgments and criticize your own work about its strengths and opportunity areas, in order to verify that you are accomplishing the class objectives.
Evaluation
First to Fourth Bimester:
40% Bimonthly Exam 40% CA’s, HW’s, projects, etc. 15% Quizzes 5% self-assessment
Fifth Bimester:
60% Bimonthly Exam 25% CA’s, HW’s, projects, etc. 10% Quizzes 5% self-assessment
Absence Limit
The maximum number of absences is 5 per bimester. Every time you arrive late for class, it will automatically be marked as a direct absence. If you get more than 5 absences during the bimester, you will not take the bimonthly exam. If you’re absent, it is your responsibility to talk to me about it, and about how and when you will hand in your pending work. I will not discuss late assignments, or pending work during class time: Please, go to my office during recess time with your justifying proof.
