I.Lesson plan to teach students the primary colors and how you can make other colors when mixing the primary colors. Students could also use a smart board to work on spelling and writing letters as a class. Students will create their own paintings by being creative and mixing colors. II.The Colors by Monique Felix III.Learning colors IV.Before reading: Introduce the book by asking students what their favorite color is. V.During reading: have students fill in the blanks for what colors make the new colors. VI.After reading: students will create their own paintings and mix colors.
