AttendanceIf you are absent from class:

• Inform your lecturer that you will be away before you are away (by email is good too)

• You may be required to present a medical certificate to your lecturer to explain your absence

Your responsibilities:

• Catch up on any content or work that you have missed, make an appointment out side of class time to talk to you lecturer

• Make sure you use the resources on blackboard

If you are away for an assessment:

• This may count as a first submission so make sure you contact your lecturer

• Negotiate extensions on assessments with your lecturer, you don’t just ‘get’ an extension

NOTE: Some courses have a minimum attendance requirement, check with your lecturer what the requirements are.
