Canvas LMS Consortium Workshop Series Canvas Professional Development Day 1: July 30, 2014, 8:30-2:30, Lunch Included This workshop provides an overview of the Canvas learning management system, and introduces you to its robust features. Canvas 1 includes topics to get you started navigating Canvas and understanding your Canvas environment. Online teaching and learning best practice will be discussed. Attendees will begin creating an online course, please bring along content/materials/resources necessary. It is the continuation of Canvas 1 and includes online course design and best practice. It is the continuation of Canvas 2 and will focus on more advanced features of the LMS. Online course management will be addressed. Attendees will continue working on building online courses, please bring along content/materials/resources necessary. Best practices for course building and delivery, Canvas features, and user sharing and collaboration will be the focus for the session.
