CIS101 Final Team Project and Presentation Guidelines As a final project for CIS101, you will team up with other students to produce a Web site combining what you have learned about XHTML, CSS and Programming. Each team will present their final project to the class during the time scheduled for the final exam. The team project will provide students with an exciting opportunity to learn more about their learning theme; while gaining skills in team-building, project management and presentation skills. Try to choose a topic that interests you so that you can enjoy the experience. CIS 101 class will form teams of three to four (Week 3) Each team will forward the following details to your Professor (Week 4): o Topic chosen in your Theme / Learning Community area; o Names & E-mail addresses of team members; and o Individual responsibilities for each team member. Each team will present a brief PowerPoint presentation on the topic chosen, which is subject to critique and approval, by the Professor (Week 9).

CIS101 Final Team Project and Presentation Guidelines

As a final project for CIS101, you will team up with other students to produce a Web site

combining what you have learned about XHTML, CSS and Programming. Each team

will present their final project to the class during the time scheduled for the final exam.

The team project will provide students with an exciting opportunity to learn more about

their learning theme; while gaining skills in team-building, project management and

presentation skills. Try to choose a topic that interests you so that you can enjoy the

experience.

CIS 101 class will form teams of three to four (Week 3)

Each team will forward the following details to your Professor (Week 4):

o Topic chosen in your Theme / Learning Community area;

o Names & E-mail addresses of team members; and

o Individual responsibilities for each team member.

Each team will present a brief PowerPoint presentation on the topic chosen, which

is subject to critique and approval, by the Professor (Week 9).

Team project submitted in hard copy and also (Week 13). Deliverables include:

o Four page group written document on you chosen subject (excluding

Names, Title and References). 1 ½ line spacing;

o Completed Web site consisting of at least one Web page per team

member, with at least three links to other team-created pages, images,

links to external sites, link to customer support and at least one

programming concept; uploaded to your Web Space on the PACE web

server and/or your e-portfolio account. WebCam Video/ PodCast /

describing your Group Project uploaded to YouTube with a link back to

your web page.

Final team presentation (Week 14). Every student will present in class.

Your Professor will provide you with more details and guidance on this final

project during the semester.
