WHAT IS CHRISTMAS AND WHEN IT IS CELEBRATED IN BULGARIA!?

• Christmas is one of the biggest religious holidays

in Christian world. In it Christians celebrate the

birth of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

• Christmas is one of the 20 religious holidays in

Bulgaria. Celebrated on December 25.

WHAT IS PUT ON THE TABLE?!

•The number of dishes to be odd, it's best 7 or 9,

which are sacred numbers.

•It is good to have on the table: stuffed peppers(1),

cabbage(2), pumpkin(3), dried fruit(4), popcorn(5),

cooked beans(6) and bread with a coin (7)

SANTA GIVES GIFTS

•Santa comes to our house and put presents under

the tree.

•Usually Santa is somebody of the family, but this is

done only if there is a small child.
