Examples of Terrestrial Biomes Tundra Is a biome characterized by a low temperature and a very short period of growing season. Desert Is a biome in which there is too little rainfall to support trees or grasses. Grassland Is a biome in which the dominant form of vegetation is grass Taiga Is a biome with cold winter and warm, moist summer. Tropical Forest Is a biome in which there is a constant supply of rainfall. Temperate Forest Is a biome characterized by hot humid summer and cold winters. Examples of Aquatic Biomes Marine Is a biome native to or formed by the sea. Fresh Water Is a biome where water is not too salty to drink. Entry Test It is a biome in which the dominant form of vegetation is grasses. I hope you’ve enjoyed my presentation! Please do give credits to the owner.
