• In your PODS, discuss everything you know about the following early Chinese dynasties:

• Tang• Song• Sui• Do you think their physical environment and

location affected their daily life? If so, how?

• Each group will be assigned a specific physical feature of China to discover and research.

• Step 1: You will read the material given to you on your feature.

• Step 2: Highlight important evidence you have discovered that your peers should know! As you read, brainstorm and think about how these features affected the early dynasties of China.

• Design a poster that displays your physical feature (I will model this for you)

• Step 1: Create a map display of China and your physical feature

• Step 2: Pull the most significant evidence that you highlighted and write these bullet points under your map.

• Step 3: Create a strong statement from what you concluded earlier on HOW the geography affected the early Chinese dynasties.
