This report takes an in depth look at charter school retention rates by following the school’s graduating class from the first grade that it is able to enter the school to the enrollment of the graduating class.

From 2005 to 2012 this class lost 67.9% of it’s students with a 32% retention rate. The biggest drops in enrollment were from 7th to 8th grade where the class lost 21 students and 11th to 12th grade where the class lost 9 students.

From 2006 to 2012 this class lost 62% of it’s class with a retention rate of 38%. The biggest drops in enrollment were from 7th to 8th grade where the class lost 24 students and 6th to 7th grade where the class lost 15 students.

From 2009 to 2012 this class lost 63% of it’s class with a retention rate of 36%. The biggest drops in enrollment were from 9th to 10th grade where the class lost 53 students.
