Education
• Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skill, and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training or research.
• Education is preparing a person to face everyday life

Difference between Literate & Educated
• The learning attitude & quantity of educational certificates transform a person into a literate person, while
• The outcome behavior of a person of his literacy, education, observation, experience is transform a person into an educated one.

Education is integral part of practical life to acquire, “better job, opportunity of character building and bright future”.
The Rescuer with higher level of learning and education is, definitely, beneficial for his/ her own future and the department, as well.

Role of ESA in Character Building
• The Content, Guidelines, Congenial Learning Environment, here in Emergency Services Academy leads to Character Building of Rescue Cadets.
• The frequent addresses by Director General, lectures by Officers & lessons being imparted by Instructors are also the steps for Character Building.

Recommendations for image & character building
1. During basic and advance training courses, selected
instructor will address to cadets on reputation & image of
service and character of new rescuers.
2. There must be gathering of cadets on monthly basis and
selected dynamic cadets can address to the course during
assembly.
3. Renowned and successful rescue official Presenter should
be invited to address the cadets and share their experience.

4. Show them related movies and videos.
