Posting a Videocast
Like PodcastingPosting a videocast follows the same basic process as posting a podcast.
Web Formats (MP4 usually)One difference is that a videocast needs to be rendered into a viewable format that can be shared on the Web.
WizardMost video editing software packages provide a wizard to make this easier.
Different NamesFound under an option such as ʻExportʼ, ʻCreate Movieʼ or ʻRender ʼ.

• Go to YouTube or other video site (where downloads are legal). Start playing video, then copy the URL
• Paste URL into Freemake• Choose video type (MP4 for most instances). Convert to WMV if you are going to edit the
video in Windows Movie Maker.• Use a higher resolution for editing, or medium or lower for faster streaming.• Download to a known location.
