Life at Resonance: That was the precious time of my life. I entered here being nothing and exited being quite a learned person. Teachers used to treat us like their own children and the whole institute appeared as a closely knit family.

Your Inspiration for IIT: Actually my brother's friend was preparing for JEE during my NTSE preparation. He guided me to the future plans and when he told me about the importance and placements of IITs, I got fascinated and decided to do it.

Total hours of study in a day: It's not fixed but everyone must study in such a manner that one doesn’t lag behind in the classes and recovers as early as possible.

Did you solve all the DPPs given to you in the classes at Resonance? How did it help you: DPPs are the foremost tools in understanding the current topics and they also monitor one's grasping power of the concepts already been taught in the classes.

Did you go for any extra material for your studies? If yes then name the books: The Reso notes and sheets are self sufficient for

Prashant Jain - Kota (Rajasthan)

JEE. One should use them for the preparation as it consists of useful contents of many books. One can consider the books which are prescribed by teachers, like HCV, MCQ of Physics, hall n night etc.

How did you make a balance between the studies at Resonance & at school simultaneously: Its not a big deal though some students feel it is tough to manage. I had almost 100% attendance and used to attend every single class of Resonance. The management of time is the ultimate solution to this question.

Important topics according to you to revise at the final countdown: Physics: Waves and Modern Physics Chemistry: Real Gases, Thermodynamics and Electrochemistry. Maths: Probability and Permutation & Combination.

People behind your success: My mother is on top position in this list followed by my father and my other family members. Reso teachers, school teachers and my principal and other staffs were also important contributors. I can't forget our meetings with Manoj Sir to let our spirits going.

Advice to your successors: For my juniors, I would say that IIT is really a dream place to be at and one must work hard to be there. The institute is continuously working on it and you should also put efforts for it.

“Determination, hard work, cool mind and being warm blooded are the success mantras for my success.”

Apekshit Sharma

What do you admire the most at Resonance: The dedication right

from the top most level (RKV sir). Teachers really put in efforts for the

improvement of the students.

About Team at Resonance:

Faculty Physics: Ashish Arora sir. It wouldn't be exaggerating if I

say wherever I am right now, is mainly because of two people

(obviously after my parents). One, AA sir as he helped me out

whenever I went off-track during the preparation of JEE. Even the

silliest doubt was cleared by him patiently.

Faculty Chemistry: And the second person is Suresh Diwedi sir. He

also kept a regular check on me. Also Neeraj sir and Vibhuti mam

helped me a lot.

Faculty Maths: In grade XI, Ajay Goyal sir. He is the person who has

inspired me the maximum in my life. It was his tips which I found

Apekshit Sharma - Jaipur (Rajasthan)

very useful in JEE and in grade XII, Jagjeet Singh Sir.

Tips to increase productivity: Always divide your time during the

course of study into slots of 1 hour 45 min and change subject after

each slot. Never make a sitting of more than 1 hour and do refresh

yourself for 10 min after each slot.

How did you plan the final revision of the whole syllabus of IIT-

JEE: In the last few days, I made short notes of each topic in all the

three subjects. A person can revise all the three subjects in three

days with those notes. These notes should be prepared.

A night before IIT-JEE: Didn't study. Simply relaxed. It doesn't

mean that one should entertain oneself by watching movies but one

should gather all strength by remembering one's strong points

which will help him/her in their fight.

Advice to your successors at Resonance: Your teachers are

always there to help you to come up and do not feel ashamed if your

friends laugh at your mistakes.

“Always try to evaluate yourself because it will help you to

know your weaknesses and strengths and help you improve.”

Prabodh Dhabaria

What Unique did you find in the study material of Resonance:

Uniqueness in the study material of Resonance is that you can feel

the hard work of the teachers who have patiently developed the

material after going through the several books.

Your Inspiration for IIT: My mother heard about IITians glory and

motivated me to go for IIT-JEE.

Your family background: My father is a Mechanical Engineer and

my mother is a house wife and always helped me in my studies

since the beginning o fmy school till my success in JEE exam.

Did you solve all the DPPs given to you in the classes at

Resonance? How did it help you: Yes, I solved all the DPPs. They

helped me in building my speed, accuracy and in devising various

ways of solving problems.

What do you say about life at Resonance: It was amazing and I

Prabodh Dhabaria - Bhilwara (Rajasthan)

really enjoyed the two years of my hard wok.

How did you make a balance between the studies at Resonance

& at school simultaneously: The entire school syllabus was

covered in Resonance so I just had to do my school home work.

Your strong topics in Chemistry: p-block Chemistry,

Electrochemistry, Solid state and Gaseous State.

How did you plan the final revision: I re-solved each and every test

question paper.

Important topics according to you to revise at the final

countdown of IIT-JEE: Physics: Electrodynamics, Chemistry: p-

block, Solid State, Maths: Calculus, Geometry.

Your success mantra: My consistent efforts to get the maximum

marks in the tests conducted. I did that by sincerely attending all the

lectures and solving all the Questions.

Advice to your successors at Resonance: First of all, have

complete faith in yourself. I saw many students who just wasted

their time uselessly blaming teachers that they can't teach well.

They did not have faith in their teachers and failed to succeed.

“Have 100% faith in your teachers and then in yourself.”

Saurabh Agrawal

How did you manage all the three subjects: If I had to divide 100

minutes of revision after completing assignments then I would

divide it in the following way: Physics: 30 min, Chemistry: 40 min,

Maths: 30 min.

Did you solve all the DPPs given to you in the classes at

Resonance? How did it help you: It was the most paying exercise.

There was time limit for solving DPPs and it greatly helped me in

developing time consciousness in me. Nearly 80% of the total DPPs I

could solve in 1 hour and rest of the DPPs, I solved after discussion at

my room.

Advantages of various tests at Resonance: After each and every

test, I would mark my mistakes and try to find the reason why I did

them wrong. I feel that for me, PTs were much important because

they gave me a complete feel of the topics we had covered. I would

also get an idea about my weaknesses. CTs were very helpful in

giving me revisions of the topics that had been discussed earlier in

Saurabh Agrawal - Korba (Chhattisgarh)

the class. 'I TOOK JPTS AS SERIOUSLY AS JEE.'

Tips to increase productivity: Have sittings not for very long

duration. Have a break normally after 2 hours or it may depend on

you.

How did you plan the final revision of IIT-JEE syllabus: I revised

my notes completely. Of course the revision planner was sufficient

for important points which were to be revised.

A night before IIT-JEE: I did not talk to anyone regarding studies. I

was virtually free from any tension.

Your success mantra: Always finish work in time whatever is

given by your teachers in the class. Re do all the problems which

you couldn't solve in the first attempt, soon after the class.

Advice to your successors at Resonance: Have faith in yourself,

and in the institute. Whatever is being taught to you is quite

sufficient. Don't try to look out for material from other sources other

wise you will waste your time. Study regularly and don't think about

what will be the result. Result will surely be good.

”During the whole year, I marked the important questions on

the DPPs, sheets and test papers and that helped me a lot.”

Neeraj Khandelwal

Total hours of study in a day: On an average it was 6 to 8 hours a day.

How did you manage the three subjects: At first, I would complete the homework assigned for all the three subjects. Then I would practice maths, try to learn concepts in Physics and do a lot of mugging in Chemistry, particularly in physical part. I feel if one gives 20% of one’s time then it is the easiest one.

Did you go for any extra material for your studies? If yes then name the books: I rarely referred any book. “Bhai Reso notes are more than enough”. One may consult a book in case one can not wait for the doubt class or for the discussion in the next class.

What do you say about life at Resonance: It was an unforgettable experience. The competition and Reso DPPs & SHEETs added new chapters in my life.

What do you admire the most at Resonance: Resonance spends a lot of money and time to develop the students which is incomparable.

Neeraj Khandelwal - Jaipur (Rajasthan)

Your strong topics: Physics- Electrostatic, Geometrical optics, Chemistry: Aromaticity and whole Physical chemistry, Maths: Integration (definite), Vector, calculus and 3D Geometry as these are some important topics.

Advantages of various tests at Resonance: I got a lot of practice through PTs,CTs,JPTs. After each test, I used to look at the Questions which I could not other wise solve. And when I went for JEE, I found it was just like one of the tests at Resonance .We were absolutely conditioned for the final exam because of these tests.

How did you plan the final revision: I made my strong topics stronger, solved the tests papers of Reso very systematically and revised my notes.

Important topics to revise at the final countdown: Physics: Geometrical Optics, Chemistry: Electrochemistry, Solid State Maths: Conic Section, Vector, Algebra, 3-D Geometry.

People behind your success: My father, mother, brother and my sister living at Kota.

Abhinav Agarwal

Your Inspiration for IIT: The basic inspiration for IIT was an assured

future and a career which only IITs provide. Secondly if you really

want to do something for the nation then this is the best place for

you.

Is there any other IITian in your family: My real brother is also an

IITian. It is a co-incidence that he is also at IIT Bombay but in

Mechanical branch.

Total hours of study in a day: What really matters is how much you

studied rather than how long you studied.

What Unique did you find in the study material of Resonance: It

was self explanatory and self sufficient.

How did you make a balance between the studies at Resonance

& at school simultaneously: It was difficult but time management

is the key to success. I managed the school activity with

Abhinav Agarwal - Jaipur (Rajasthan)

permissible leaves from the school.

What do you admire the most at Resonance: Reso Faculty.

How do you unleash your stress: Watching movies, talking to

friends & reading novels.

A night before IIT-JEE: I simply relaxed.

People behind your success: Mom, Dad, brother and Reso

teachers.

Advice to your successors at Resonance: Manage your time. It

does not matter how much you study. What matters most, is what

you study.

“Always do hard work without any pressure.”

Palaash Jhabak

Inspiration for IIT: Frankly speaking till 10th I didn't know about IIT,

my aim was to do engineering, as maths was my favorite subject so

engineering was the obvious choice. Then some one told me about

IIT. But people used to say “ IIT bahut tough hai, bahut padhna

padhta hai” but how can one lose hope even before trying for it, so I

decided to take coaching for IIT - JEE.

Life at Resonance: It was quite smooth for me and I think it is

smooth for every one if one gives good attention in the class and

remains regular in the class and has faith in the teachers.

The study material of Resonance: Each and every concept was

covered which was required for JEE and there were no unnecessary

complications and the questions were also carefully selected that

one can get enough confidence to solve the problems completely.

Tests at Resonance: They helped a lot in concept building and in

boosting confidence and also made me conscious not to become

Palaash Jhabak - mahasammund (Chattisgarh)

over confident.

Your hobbies: Chatting with friends, listening some slow track

music, reading news paper and going out for good food.

Tips to increase productivity: One should be regular to the class

with full concentration because in class room the concepts get

quickly clarified. Make regular and decent notes in class and

complete your homework daily. Don’t let it remain pending and

avoid late night studies. NEVER BUNK THE CLASSES.

Your plan about the final revision: I first planned to revise my class

notes THOROUGHLY and then took up important questions in sheets

and DPPs. Do revise your weakest subject first because that will

surely help but I did a mistake while revising as I started with

Physics which was my strongest subject and could not give enough

time for Maths and Chemistry in which I was comparatively weak. I

suggest, never repeat such mistakes as committed by me.

People behind your success: My parents who always inspired

me and had full faith in my capabilities, all my teachers & friends.

“Be regular and have confidence in yourself.”

Rohit Luhadia

What do you admire the most at Resonance: A well planned study

material and faculty members.

Your Inspiration for IIT: My parents and my sister.

How did you manage all the three subjects: I was always

interested more in Chemistry but managing other subjects was easy

due to proper guidance of the faculty members at Resonance. I used

to complete the work assigned to me and there was no particular

bifurcation of number of hours of study for each subject.

Did you solve all the DPPs given to you in the classes at

Resonance? How did it help you: Yes, DPPs were a way to

strengthen the concepts while doing the topics for the first time and

also a pathway towards the end of the preparation of JEE . They

were a means to revise and be in touch with the topics.

Rohit Luhadia - Jaipur (Rajasthan)

How did you make a balance between the studies at Resonance

& at school simultaneously: School studies were never a problem.

If one completes JEE syllabus then preparation for board exams is a

cakewalk.

Advantages of various tests at Resonance: They were exactly as

per JEE level and also helped me to increase my confidence in my

stronger topics and helped me find out the weaker ones.

Tips to increase productivity: Focus on your goal. Make a time

table for everyday activity.

Advice to your successors at Resonance: Focus on your goal and

never lose sight of it. Just follow what the faculty members at

Resonance say and you will succeed. Keep an alarm clock beside

you and develop the habit of completing the task in the allotted time.

Ashish Choudhary

How did you manage all the three subjects: Chemistry is a subject

which is to be regularly revised (including notes, sheets etc.) so I

stressed more on Chemistry. In case of Maths and Physics, all you

need is attention in the class and practice the problems in DPPs, &

Sheets and so it was never a problem to manage them.

Total hours of study in a day: 5-6 hours of coaching and 5-6 hours

at home.

What do you say about life at Resonance: I really miss the time

spent at Resonance. When I was there, I felt it was boring. But now, I

remember the teachers who are really great and never to be

forgotten. They are the perfect teachers and you will feel this when

you will attend your first lecture in college at IIT and I am sure for

this.

What do you admire the most at Resonance: Supportive behavior

Ashish Choudhary - Bikaner (Rajasthan)

of all the teachers.

Tips to increase productivity: Don't just keep on reading one page

again and again. Either ask the teacher or understand with the help

of your friend. Sleep well but not more then 7 hours. Take breaks of

about 15 min and always be happy & energetic while studying.

Important topics to revise at the final countdown: Physics:

Modern Physics, Rotation, Optics, EMI and EMF. Chemistry:

Everything. Maths: Integral Calculus, Trigonometry, Functions etc.

Advice to your successors at Resonance: Always remember, if

Nitesh Kumar Singla

What unique did you find in the study material of Resonance: It

always keeps you on the track of JEE. I saw many of my friends

consulting the study material of other institutes which really

disturbed them from the actual line of focus. The study material that

we get at RESO is the best that one can have. You simply have to

study it, leave the rest to the faculty team, they are experienced and

best at their work.

Tips to increase productivity: Initially I was putting a lot of efforts

but I was never able to get the results. Then I happened to visit R C

Sharma Sir. He told me that output does not merely depend on the

input but the processing is also important. The time you put in, does

not matter until whatever is being done is finished with a complete

focus. Whenever you study, make it sure you really are. Generally

we tend to think of some other things while studying, so try to focus

only on your object. This is based on BROWN STUDY.

Nitesh Kumar - Sangrur (Punjab)

How did you make a balance between the studies at Resonance

& at school simultaneously: You won't believe, the kind of

preparation I got in Reso, Board exams were just a cakewalk for

me. Scoring 99 in Maths, 96 in Physics and 93 in Chemistry was just

a dream come true without putting in extra efforts besides doing

certain topics that were left out.

About Team at Resonance: Faculty Physics: The best in INDIA.

Verma Sir’s support helped me in getting All India highest in Physics

in JEE. Faculty Chemistry: Another jewel to the crown, VPM Mam,

SPR Sir & the stylish IITIAN Amay Pandey, they supported me

whenever I felt low. Faculty Maths: Thanks to LK Sir, YG Sir for their

support.

How did you plan the final revision of the whole syllabus of IIT-

JEE in the last few days: Whether it is DPP, Sheet or any study

material, I used to mark the important questions as Rj meaning

Revision JEE. So at the end of the course, I didn’t face any trouble in

revising it properly. I did only the marked questions and they were

enough for me to make the concepts clear and clarified the doubts.

Priyank Rajpurohit

Advantages of various tests at Resonance CTs PTs, JPTs &

APTs: I found that the JEE examination is not much different from

the regular exams. I always did experiments in the exams like

attempting Physics first or Maths or Chemistry or according to the

marks of the questions etc.

How did you plan the final revision of the whole syllabus of IIT-

JEE in the last few days: First I revised those topics which I found

difficult and then I started the revision of the entire syllabus. I left

those one or two topics that I never studied before. Collected DPPs

and sheets and solved every question of those DPPs.

Your success mantra: Always be confident and don't give up your

fight. Success will be yours.

Total hours of study in a day: 9-13 hours.

Priyank Rajpurohit - Pali (Rajasthan)

Did you solve all the DPPs given to you in the classes at

Resonance? How did it help you: I solved most of them before the

Shekhar Saurabh

Did you start studying from day one at Resonance: Even before

the day I entered Kota.

How did you manage all the three subjects: I took 6 hours to

complete the homework and then I used to do some revision.

Your favorite hobby to refresh your self: I used to sleep because

rest of the things appeared to be time consuming so I didn't prefer

going for that.

A night before IIT-JEE: Don't do too much of work that night. Just

relax and give rest to your mind after dinner.

Did you go for any extra material for your studies? If yes then

name the books: Not at all. Reso Material is more than sufficient.

Important topics according to you to revise at the final

countdown to IIT-JEE: Physics: Electrodynamics. Chemistry:

Inorganic portion. Maths: Coordinate Geometry.

Shekhar Saurabh - East Champaran (Bihar)

What unique did you find in the study material of Resonance:

High quality conceptual problems. It clarified all the concepts if one

solved them and discussed nicely with one's teachers. No one can

stop you in cracking JEE if you solve just 60% of those problems and

get the doubts clarified from the concerned teachers.

People behind your success: Resonance team & my parents.

Did you solve all the DPPs given to you in the classes at

Resonance? How did it help you: Yes exactly. That's the actual key

to sucess. DPP is like milk after dinner.

Advice to your successors at Resonance: Never take burden on

your head. Its already being carried by your devoted teachers. Just

complete your homework under any circumstances. Do some

revision randomly on daily basis at your own. You know yourself

best and so listen to the plans of others but make your plan

according to yourself.

Mayank Jaiswal

Total hours devoted for studies daily: Routine days 6-7 hours,

Exam days 9-10 hours but I invariably had 8 hours of sleep.

What do you admire the most at Resonance: Systematic

timetable and RKV Sir.

Tips to increase productivity: Not to develop bad habits like

Computer Games and Internet Surfing. They cause extreme damage

which one can not imagine. No disturbing relationships, Once in IIT,

you will get enough of every thing.

DO'S:Have a good friend circle which is always with you in your

happiness and sorrows.

How did you manage the final revision: I evolved some symbols to

denote the status of the problems/ questions. For examples (1) Right

Tick indicated that the questions were solved in the first attempt (2)

Circle indicated that the questions could not be solved in the first

chance (3) Right tick on a circle indicated that I could understand the

Mayank Jaiswal - Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh)

questions following a discussion in the doubt class. (4) A star

indicated that the questions were worth revising or need one more

revision. (5) MM-indicated that the questions were easy and could

be solved by using a trick (6) GKW denoted “Galti Karane Wala”

questions which meant that there were chances of making

mistakes in such type of questions. (7) IMP denoted that the

questions were likely to come in exam. Accordingly, I knew for sure

what I needed to revise and what not.

Your success mantra: Respect, believe and obey your teachers.

People behind your success: Motivation induced by RKV Sir, LK Sir

and VPM Madam. They are simply incredible mentors. One of VPM

Madam's saying: “Log galti karke seekhte hain, IITians doosro ki

galtiyo se seekhte hain,” always inspired me a lot.

Ravi Kumar Meena

How did you make a balance between the studies at Resonance & at school simultaneously: I studied sincerely round the year which really helped me to coverup my school syllabus. I prepared the remaining two subjects just before my board examinations.

Total hours of study in a day: 6-8 hours.

How did you manage the three subjects: I studied all the three

subjects simultaneously. I used to do the homework on the same

day.

Division of daily study hours: Physics: 2-3 hours, Chemistry: 2-3

hours, Maths: 2-3 hours.

Amongst the three (DPPs, Class Notes & Sheets) which one did

you emphasize more: I emphasized on the class notes and did the

DPPs regularly.

Your favorite teachers: BKM Sir in Physics, SPR Sir & SSS Sir, in

Chemistry and LK Sir in Maths.

Ravi Kumar Meena-Sawaimadhopur (Rajasthan)

Your strong topics: Electromagnetism, Electrodynamics, Waves in

Physics, Chemical Bonding, Kinetics in Chemistry and Integration in

Maths.

Your favorite hobby to refresh yourself: Playing cricket.

How did you plan the revision of the whole syllabus: I made short

notes at the end of the session and read those notes only for the final

revision.

Advice to your successors at Resonance: Resonance is the best

institution in India for IIT-JEE Coaching. All the faculty members &

the members of the management are great. Take advantage of

them.

“The study material here is really very good. I never required

any reference book.”

Piyush Udai

Family background: My father is a Mining Engineer in the

Department of Mines and Geology, Rajasthan and my mother is a

government teacher. I have two brothers.

Role of DPPs in your preparation: Solved most of them and they

were really helpful for practicing the theory.

The study material of Resonance: The best thing is that it is

connected directly with the syllabus. It was just self sufficient for

the total preparation for JEE.

Your experience at Resonance: It was quite enjoyable. The

teachers were very good. I really enjoyed the lectures. A JEE

aspirant can easily connect with the teachers at Resonance.

What do you admire the most at Resonance: Teachers especially

RKV sir and LK Sir, infrastructure and the study material.

Your favorite activity to refresh yourself: Listening music.

Piyush Udai - Ajmer (Rajasthan)

Tips to increase productivity: Time management is the most

important factor. Devote a major portion of your time for your

studies.

Food at Kota: I used to eat maggi most of the time.

A night before IIT-JEE: I was very confident and did not revise too

much.

Life at Kota: It was an amazing experience. I made quite good

friends over there and enjoyed my stay there.

People behind your success: My parents and Resonance.

“Time Management is the key to success.”

Kiran Meena

How did you manage the three subjects: I revised notes daily. I

used to begin with my weaker topics and then gradually used to

shift to my stronger topics.

What do you say about the study material of Resonance:

Speaking truly, I never read the study material of any other coaching

institute so I am unable to compare the material but I can tell you if

you try hard, read notes daily, solve DPPs & Sheets on time then no

one can stop you to get into IITs. The Study material of Resonance is

sufficient for your preparation.

What do you say about life at Resonance: One can term that part

of my life as time spent in the pursuit of selection in JEE.

What do you admire the most at Resonance: Some of the

teacher's behavior towards the weak students is very good. They

always try to help them.

Kiran Meena - Kota (Rajasthan)

How did you revise syllabus of IIT-JEE: I read all those topics in

which I was weak.

A night before IIT-JEE: I was nervous. Although I completed my

entire revision a day before still I was unable to sleep well.

People behind your success: My family.

Advice to your successors at Resonance: Work hard for one year

and get lots of comfort for rest of the years. Always remember that

practice is important.

“If you work hard, read notes daily, solve DPPs & Sheets on

time then no one can stop you from getting into IITs.”

Narenedra Kumar Khoker

Your Inspiration for IIT: I had interest in mathematics since my

childhood so my father suggested me to become an engineer. I was

lucky enough to prepare myself for IIT-JEE at one of the best

institutions that is none other than Resonance.

How did you manage the three subjects: I used to allot equal time

to all the three subjects and whenever I had an extra time, I devoted

that time to Mathematics.

Life at Resonance: It was great. I got a right direction to make a

solid platform for my life.

Tips to increase productivity: Study with proper timetable and

think only about your goal. Keep away from nuisance like- Cyber

cafes.

How did you plan the final revision: First, I identified my weak &

strong topics in all the subjects and then distributed the time

Narenedra Kumar Khoker - Dausa (Rajasthan)

accordingly for the revision. I focused much on my strong topics so

that I couldn't miss any question from these topics. DPPs (especially

for revision) were my basic revision tool.

A night before IIT-JEE: I was cool and calm and took a good sleep

of 8 hours. I revised some formulae in the early morning and went to

the test center on bicycle with my brother.

Your success mantra: Make a time table for yourself and abide by

that.

People behind your success: Especially my elder brother because

he used to take a great care and always kept me energetic.

“Resonance is the best institute for IIT-JEE preparation

especially for those students who have average skills or who

come from Hindi medium background.”

Narenedra Kumar Khoker - Dausa (Rajasthan)
