Raising standards, promoting proactive partnership and the regeneration of inclusive sustainable communities.

By 2015 plans to be supporting hundreds of hard to reach people, improving skills & providing employment to over 600 people.

Helping individuals with complex needs reach their full potential, KSEN aims to reach some of the highly deserving:

- 80,000 young people living in care.

- 50,000 families living chaotic lives.

- Jobless 90% of 1.5 million people with learning disabilities

- 1 in 4 people having mental health issues.

- 1 in 5 young people having criminal convictions.

Vision

♦To promote inclusion, improve health, reduce crime & anti social behaviour, & number of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET).

♦ Build strong relationships of trust between the statutory, private and voluntary sectors.

KSEN conducted three levels

of consultations with key service users; service providers (statutory and voluntary agencies); and the

organised private sector.

Project Location:

Isle of Sheppey…. host to three HM prisons and a large population of social and economically inactive people

Track Record

•"Abdul has taken over three previously empty shop units adjacent to his training project in Lambeth Walk and employed his trainees to help turn them into new businesses serving the local community" Lambeth Council Leader, Cllr. Steve Reed wrote on the Council’s website in January 2007, after his official tour of ACA projects in Lambeth, London South Bank.

•“By funding organisations like this, Lambeth is helping communities to help themselves” - Steve concluded.

Kate Hoey MP, actively participated along with the Chair, London Criminal Justice Board, & the LDA etc, at TSEF Launch in 2006. She was quoted as saying….. “The Spirit of TSEF Must be Kept Alive & Sustained".
